That’s the Point

What a workshop we had on Saturday! Thank you to all participants for helping me extend and enhance our Qigong practice through this deeper exploration. I know it was a lot to learn at one time, but you all did great. Here are a few testimonials from participants:

“I feel very much like I do after an acupuncture session.” -- K.L.

(Historically, acupressure actually came first; acupuncture evolved, in part, when healers found they could treat more patients and more points at the same time, by using needle-like instruments. So yes, you’re getting much the same good effect when you do acupressure.)

“This morning I woke with my sciatica yelling at me. I took my fists and applied them to my butt (acupressure point UB 54) and voila, no more pain!”—A.W.

(It’s so great when you find the points that work for you!  Chronic issues that have plagued you for years become manageable.)

So, stay posted. The next time I teach an acupressure workshop I will target a specific issue, or part of the body, for instance acupressure points on the legs and feet, or on the head and neck. Small bites will be easier to digest. Meanwhile, keep exploring, enjoy, and please keep us posted on what you’re discovering. Remember, we’re all in this together: that multiplies the good energy.
