All our Thriving is Mutual
Indigenous people have a saying: “All our thriving is mutual.” When I read that quote this morning it reminded me of Saturday’s Qigong class at Innisfree Garden. The wind ruffled the tree tops, the lake sparkled in front of us, and we could feel each other’s relaxed, uplifted energy as we moved together. “Everyone was in a really good mood when they left!” the gate-keepers later told me.
It may not be quite as magical as playing together at Innisfree, but as we’ve discovered in the past two years, Qi travels very well over the internet. After all, the three treasures—clear mind, balanced emotions, and a healthy body-- reside within. So, while classes are suspended during my August break, I’m happy to share a few video recordings of our classes. They will serve as a reminder of the exercises but also of the fact that, as we’ve discovered over the past two years, we are part of a powerful group of mutually thriving Qi-sters. Together, we’ve struggled through, transcended, and even enjoyed life’s on-going challenges and adventures. All our thriving is mutual. Happy August, everyone! Keep the good energy flowing.
