Live Zoom Qigong with Cris, May 29 - June 4, 2023

June Schedule and Other News

First, welcome to all new-comers to my classes, you’re doing great! Maybe you heard about me from a friend or family member who is already a steady member of the group. I don’t advertise, so I really appreciate that so many of you are helping to keep the group strong and qi-full by sharing your experience of learning Qigong with others. Welcome too, to those who are finding me online, via my YouTube channel (Cris Caivano, YouTube). I’m very happy word is getting out!

Now for some schedule up-dates:

This month I will be cancelling a few classes while I’m away: No class on Sunday, June 4; Tuesday, June 6; Tuesday June 20; and Thursday June 22. It’s important that you keep your energy flowing even when we aren’t meeting, so please take advantage of the many free videos on my website, criscaivano.com. They’re brief, and will tweak your memory of the exercises you already know and love. You’ll find some floor exercises, as well as specific videos for balance, flexibility, strength, and relaxation. There’s even a slightly longer video of a Qigong workout that can be done seated the entire time. It’s a good one if you’re recovering from an injury, or are brand new to exercise.

The newest addition to our class, a 5-minute upper body strength training bonus immediately following each session, had been getting great reviews! It’s fun, it’s quick, and if you take my suggestion and do the exercise twice a day, you will find your upper body strength will steadily increase. Try it and please let me know what you think. I teach a new move every Sunday, and repeat it on Tuesday and Thursday.

Free Live/Online Qigong at Millbrook Library in June

We will meet Fridays June 9 and 23, 10 AM-11 AM. Newcomers are always welcome, as the material I teach changes from week-to-week. To register, write to millbrooklibrary.org. For those of you joining us online, the library will provide you with the link. I look forward to seeing you there! PS: Weather permitting, we will practice outside on the lush, soft grass. The space is fairly private and provides a good way to feel the energy of the earth and nature. Chairs will be provided for those who need one.
