Afternoon Tao Yin class

In addition to our usual weekly classes, please join me this Wednesday, April 28 at 5 PM EST for our once-a-month Afternoon Tao Yin class.  This hour-long session will begin with a standing warm-up followed by at least 40 minutes of floor stretches.  Tao Yin is a lovely, relaxing and enlivening series of exercises somewhat similar to Yoga, but using flowing, curving movements instead of static poses. Tao Yin incorporates breath and mindfulness to deepen meditative benefits, and I will teach acupressure points to massage as you stretch, further enhancing the circulation of energy through the meridian system. You may be very surprised how well your stubbornly tight muscles and joints respond to this integrated approach! I certainly was several years ago, when I first used Tao Yin to aide recovery from trauma surgery on my knee.  As I like to say, β€œTao Yin took the injuries right out of my body.”

Like my Qigong classes, Afternoon Tao Yin is open to all levels. Beginners as well as more experienced students can learn and benefit from this rarely taught and wonderful technique. Payment is an optional donation of $10-15, payable through PayPal or Zelle. See below for information on how to connect to the Tao Yin class (It is the same link and passcode as for my other Qigong classes.). I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, if not before!
